Teagasc appoints Kelly as it targets moving technologies onto farms

MOVING existing knowledge and new technologies onto farms to improve competitiveness and sustainability is a top priority for Teagasc.

The commitment was highlighted by Teagasc director Professor Gerry Boyle when commenting on the appointment of Dr Tom Kelly as its director of Knowledge Transfer.

Teagasc, as part of its Change Programme, has combined its advisory and education services to create a single Knowledge Transfer Directorate, which will be led by Dr Kelly, who will take up his new role later this month.
