BoI shares fall as nationalisation mooted
Down from early trading, Bank of Ireland’s decline gathered pace throughout the day and closed at €1.29; a fall of 7.73%, or 11c from Tuesday’s closing price.
The fall — on a largely uneventful day for the ISEQ which was down by 0.22% at 2,916 points — wasn’t replicated by AIB, however, which gained 1.27% (2c) to close at €1.20.
