TRADING on bank holiday Monday was quiet on the ISEQ index in Dublin yesterday with the index falling 51.78 to 3,093.94.

In financial news, AIB was down 12c at €2.38, while €Bank of Ireland was down 10c at €2.45. Irish Life and Permanent decreased 11c to €5.69.

Kerry Group gained 5c to €20.05, Glanbia was down 6c to €2.67, while Fyffes was level at 37c.

In the construction sector, Kingspan was down 5c to €6.05, Grafton Group was down 7c to €3.48, and McInerney fell one cent to 17c.

In other news, Ryanair fell 3c to €3.19 and Aer Lingus was level at 63c.
