RYANAIR chief executive Michael O’Leary said he will likely stay away from the Aer Lingus AGM next week because there would be “too much of a personality issue” if he were present.

The airline chief said he hasn’t decided yet if he will attend the AGM on Friday but added that Aer Lingus chairman, Colm Barrington gets “too hot and bothered” by his presence.

Mr O’Leary was speaking after Ryanair handed its votes on the issue of director pay at Aer Lingus to the Government.
