THE Dublin market traded slightly higher yesterday to mirror other European bourses.

Market makes moderate advance

Weak trading volumes were the most noticeable factor on the day as the ISEQ index added 11.20 points to finish at 2,643.86.

The financials witnessed a relatively positive day with all three of the principal banks making headway. AIB added 7.6c to €1.08. Bank of Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent followed suit tacking on 6.8c and 19.5c to close at €1.07 and €2.80.
