Deloitte seeks 70 redundancies here

CONSULTANCY group Deloitte is seeking 70 voluntary redundancies, the equivalent of 6% of its staff in Ireland where it employs 700.

It is the second major global consultancy group to start shedding jobs here as the economy goes deeper into recession.

Earlier this month KPMG shocked the market when it announced it was to axe 200 jobs.
