ISME recommends pay freeze

THE National Council of ISME, the Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association, has unanimously recommended member companies unilaterally introduce an immediate 12-month pay freeze.

The National Council said it has reached this decision, which will be communicated to all members, as a consequence of the serious deterioration in business activity and a negative outlook for 2009.
