FLAWS in dairy and milk quota policies are now wiping out farm incomes, the Irish Creamery Milk Supplies Association has claimed.

ICMSA president Jackie Cahill said the ICMSA has been pointing out for over a year that quota expansion policy is collapsing milk price.

Average 50,000-gallon suppliers to the likes of Dairygold and Glanbia are seeing €6,000 per annum being cut off their incomes in the blink of an eye, while unionised workforces within these companies debate about the size of their own pay rises.
