RYANAIR’S chief executive, Michael O’Leary is on the hunt for a cheap fleet of long-haul aircraft which would service flights from Europe to the US.

Mr O’Leary is hoping to establish a sister company to Ryanair that would operate the low-cost transatlantic flights.

He said that Ryanair itself would not invest in the new company but shareholders such as himself might.
