THE Dublin market recovered a modest amount of the previous two days losses, as the ISEQ rose 98.947 points to 4,499.957.

The financial sector rebounded well as AIB and Bank of Ireland posted gains of 22.5c and 32.6c respectively to close at €8.75 and €6.047. Anglo-Irish moved on over 6% or 43c to €6.28, while Irish Life and Permanent added 14.5c to €5.80.

Among the construction stocks, CRH jumped 23c to €18.16, as sector peers Grafton Group and Kingspan had a mixed day. The former moved on 7c to €4.27, while the latter lost 13.6c to €6.994. Ryanair slipped 4c to €2.63.
