Ryanair leads market fightback

THE Irish market yesterday recovered all of the previous day’s losses as Ryanair led the fightback.

The ISEQ index surged 140.89 points to end the week at 4,513.059.

Financial stocks had a mostly successful day as AIB and Bank of Ireland added 28.6c and 10c to €8.83 and €6.06. Anglo-Irish also made steady gains to close up 25c at €6.36. Irish Life and Permanent also moved on 2.2c to €6.16.
