Ryanair to tighten luggage restriction

RYANAIR is to introduce flights that will allow hand luggage only over the coming months.

Chief executive Michael O’Leary also said it has no need to merge with another airline, adding his company will be one of five main fliers left after the industry consolidates.

Ryanair said yesterday it is considering a number of routes on which to introduce the baggage restrictions.
