SMG signs 2-year deal with Setanta

SMG, Scotland’s largest commercial media company, signed a new two-year contract with satellite broadcaster Setanta Sports to bolster its television business.

SMG will provide broadcast and production services for Setanta, the Irish television company that broadcasts soccer matches of the Scottish and English Premier Leagues, Glasgow-based SMG said in a statement.

The new deal begins in August 2008 and continues for the duration of the 2009-2010 season.
