Trend Micro reports record fourth quarter

INTERNET security firm Trend Micro has reported record sales for its fourth quarter — helped by the strong performance of its Cork operation.

The company, which yesterday reported sales of $231 million (€158m) for the quarter said 60% of its EU Revenue is driven through its Cork operations.

It said the Cork base has been steadily growing over the years with a growing number of sales resources being centralised there, leading to the company more than doubling its head count in those teams.
