Market again loses ground

THE Irish exchange closed in negative territory in line with other European bourses yesterday. The ISEQ fell 293 points to 6,615.

Market again loses ground

The financial market felt the brunt. AIB fell 57c to €14.50. Bank of Ireland weakened 41c to €9.80. Irish Life and Permanent and Anglo closed down €1.07 and 49c to €10.40 and €9.65.

In construction, CRH plummeted €2.12 to €24.77. Kingspan lost 55c to €9.12 while Grafton finished 22c lower at €5.38.
