Kelleher gets head of Davy private clients
Mr Kelleher, a former Dublin footballer, will take over as head of global investment strategy at the division in March, which has €10 billion in client funds under management. He is currently the broker’s head of equity research.
Davy’s private client division has expanded rapidly in the last few years. It accounts for about half of the company’s business and employs 250 people.
It provides its customers with wealth management services, including personalised portfolio construction, retirement and succession planning, and access to global investment opportunities in property, private equity and alternative asset classes.
“The success of the Irish economy over the last 15 years has provided an entire generation with new opportunities for wealth accumulation. Davy Private Clients is leading the way in presenting new opportunities in a variety of asset classes from across the globe to Irish clients.
“I’m now looking forward to this exciting new challenge,” Mr Kelleher said yesterday.
Mr Kelleher is one of the country’s most experienced equity analysts and has headed the Davy research team for three years.
