ISEQ finishes week on bearish note

THE Dublin market closed down on Friday evening despite being up almost 100 points in morning trading.

The ISEQ index shed 4.63 points to finish the week at 6,977.13.

The financials had a mixed day with AIB up 3.5c to €15.495, Bank of Ireland shipped 4.8c to close at €10.352, Anglo Irish lost 27c to rest at €10.38 while Irish Life & Permanent rose 7.6c to €11.77.
