THE Dublin Excchange closed in negative territory in line with European bourses.

The ISEQ closed 161 points lower at 7,045.

Financial heavyweight AIB dipped 7c to €15.23. Bank of Ireland dropped 40c to €10.50. Irish Life and Permanent and Anglo closed 73c and 45c weaker at €12.83 and €11.45 respectively.
