Market ends week in profit mode

THE Irish exchange finished the week in positive territory despite the Central Bank cutting its economic growth forecast from 4% to 3.25% for next year.

The ISEQ finished 67c better off at 8,478.

AIB added 14c to €18.40. Bank of Ireland gained 41c to €13.93. Irish Life and Permanent was 11c stronger at €18 while Anglo finished 23c weaker at €13.99.
