THE Irish Stock Exchange finished another day in negative territory despite expectations that the US Federal Reserve may cut interest rates soon.

The Dublin market was 138 points lower at 8,049.

AIB dipped 5c to €17.68. Bank of Ireland was 30c worse off at €12.62. Irish Life and Permanent and Anglo were 85c and 42c weaker at €16.60 and €13.50.
