UPC generates €54m in revenue

UPC IRELAND, which owns the NTL and Chorus digital television and broadband brands, generated revenues of $74.7 million (€54.4m) in the second quarter of the year, up from $64.8m for the same period last year.

UPC’s parent company, Liberty Global reported second quarter revenues of $2.18 billion, up from $1.59bn from the corresponding period last year.

For the first half of the year on a whole, Liberty generated operating profits of $392m on revenues of $4.28bn.
