THE ISEQ Index mirrored other European Bourses by declining yesterday.

Market suffers further decline

The Dublin market fell 99.61 points to 8,595.23 as the financials suffered following renewed fears emanating from the US.

Leading bank AIB shed 57c to close at €19.04 while rival Bank of Ireland lost 33c to end the session at €13.87. Anglo Irish slipped back 19c to €13.83 and Irish Life & Permanent closed 28c to €18.02.
