THE ISEQ index followed the general trend across European bourses by falling yesterday.

Market down as financials take hit

The Dublin market dropped 69.58 to 9,409.03.

The main catalysts to the fall off were the financial stocks, with AIB down 7c to €21.20 while Bank of Ireland shed 15c to €15.45. Anglo Irish and Irish Life & Permanent suffered more of the same, losing 32c and 35c.
