Irish arm of Hermes sees sales rise by 28%

THE Irish arm of Hermes SoftLab — the Slovenian- based software engineering and IT services provider — proved to be the company’s best performing division last year, with a sales increase of 28% recorded.

The company, which has its headquarters in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, recorded total sales of €41.6 million. Its Irish operation contributed €5.4m of that total.

“Our reach into the telecoms space increased significantly last year. We worked, and are continuing to work, on mission critical projects for industry leaders such as O2, BT and Vodafone. The Irish team has also been devising innovative solutions for a range of companies in the gaming sectors and embedded software areas,” according to Kevin Maher, head of Hermes SoftLab here.
