Skillnets launches training venture

Skillnets — the Government-supported initiative which assists companies with their training requirements — officially launches its latest venture, Construction Skillnets this afternoon at Croke Park.

A number of construction companies and suppliers will be in attendance along with representatives of the Construction Industry Federation and promoters, Laing O’Rourke.

There are over 265,000 people working in this industry. Skillnets allows up to 40% rebate on all approved training, so it is an incentive for employers to upskill their employees.
