IT is time to start talking openly about the challenges the proposed ending of milk quotas in eight years’ time will bring for the Irish dairy industry, according to Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny.

“I don’t wish to be the one to put the nail in the coffin of quotas, but shying away from the problem helps no one,” he said.
