American Airlines reinstates service

AMERICAN AIRLINES is boosting cargo capacity from Ireland with the reinstatement of direct daily services from Shannon to Chicago throughout the 2007 summer schedule, it was announced yesterday.

The new direct services from Shannon, starting May 1 and using B757 aircraft, complement the airline’s existing daily B767 Dublin-Chicago services. The latter will now operate direct once again as they did in summer 2006, and dropping their winter 2006 Shannon stop.
