Firms not ready for flu strike

UP to 40% of the workforce could be affected by a flu pandemic.

A report launched today will warn that most Irish businesses are unprepared for the consequences, the Irish Examiner has learned.

The report will be launched by Enterprise, Trade & Employment Minister Micheál Martin. It was drawn up by the State’s main employment agencies: Forfás, the IDA and Enterprise Ireland.
