‘Half of new houses to be timber frame’

HALF of the new housing market will be timber frame construction, according to the Irish Timber Frame Manufacturers’ Association (ITFMA).

This will be up from the current 30% share.

Ten years ago timber frame only accounted for 5% of the new housing market.
