YESTERDAY saw the Irish market continue its recent turbulent performance, as the Irish bourse dipped into the red.

The ISEQ shed 34.35 to rest at 9,288.03.

The financial market posted a horrendous performance sliding almost 130. Anglo-Irish and Bank of Ireland were the principal fallers dropping 24c and 22c to €15.74 and €17.30. Irish Life and permanent bucked the trend gaining 19c to €21.04. AIB lost 10c to €22.20.
