CPL’s pre-tax profits rise to €8m

THE Irish-based recruitment group CPL has delivered impressive first-half results for the six months ended December 2006.

CPL saw pre-tax profits shoot up by 75% to €8 million, while turnover was up a solid 42% to €94m for the period.

Analysts are expected to upgrade forecasts suggesting that the group will beat earlier forecasts by 20% over the next two years.
