Ryanair in tax campaign

RYANAIR is offering one million free flights worth €43m to customers who send emails to Britain’s Chancellor Gordon Brown to protest at higher taxes on air travel.

Ryanair in tax campaign

“Unless we mobilise the public there’s going to be more taxes on airlines,” chief executive officer Michael O’Leary said. Ryanair’s campaign will give away a million seats.

Customers will only have to pay the €15.27 air-passenger duty charge. Mr O’Leary said customers can email Mr Brown via Ryanair’s website.
