Market steady despite C&C flop

The ISEQ Index was flat overall despite C&C suffering serious losses on the day. The Dublin exchange closed at 9,316.72.

Market heavyweight AIB gained 10c to €22.25. Bank of Ireland was unchanged at €17.12. Anglo Irish was 18cbetter off at €15.79 with over 5.6 million shares changing hands. Irish Life and Permanent added 2c to €21.15.

CRH and Kingspan closed 27c and 20c stronger at €30.50 and 20.15. Grafton Group and McInerney closed 25c and 29c weaker at €12.25 and €15.01.
