Food firm lays off seasonal workers

A TOTAL of 47 seasonal workers employed by Breeo Foods are to be laid off tomorrow.

The company, formerly the consumer foods division of Dairygold, is a subsidiary of Reox Holdings, which was established last year when the co-op was restructured.

A company spokesman said the workers were on temporary contract.
