THE ISEQ Index fell slightly yesterday as the banking sector weighed the market down.

The Dublin exchange dipped 2.89 to 8,805.87.

AIB shed 5c to €21.68 while Irish Life & Permanent and Anglo both fell, down 25c and 2c. Only Bank of Ireland closed higher, adding 2c finishing at €16.05.
