Fraud costing Irish economy billions

FRAUD in Ireland is estimated to cost between €2-€4bn to the Irish economy each year.

SAS head of fraud solutions Peter Dorrington, said the impact of fraud in Ireland is at a very conservative estimate, anything from 2% to 3% of Ireland’s Gross Domestic Product (€148 billion).
