House prices have stalled, says report

PROPERTY website, daft.ie Q3 2006 report shows that growth in house prices has come to a halt. Average prices for residential property did not increase between the Q2 and Q3 of this year.

Preliminary figures for October indicate slight growth but all signs point to a levelling off in prices.

The report found while demand may have weakened, supply of houses on the market is at an all-time high.
