Duo pick up entrepreneur award

A company which staged the first ever Street Performance World Championship in Ireland won the David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Award 2006.

The championship directors, Conor McCarthy and Mark Duckenfield, were presented with their award yesterday at Dublin Castle, by Enterprise, Trade and Employment Minister Michael Martin.

The prize wins mentoring and consultancy advice worth over €80,000 from Irish professional advisors and a cash prize of €10,000.
