Ireland rated second for taxes

IRELAND second easiest country in the world in which to pay business taxes. This is according to a joint report by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the World Bank.

Titled Paying Taxes — The Global Picture, the survey compares business regulation in 175 countries.

These are based on the total business tax rate (Ireland ranked 13th in the world), the number of discrete tax payments that have to be made (Ireland ranked 10th) and the time per year required to complete business tax filings (Ireland ranked 10th).
