Phone company 3 continues expansion

MOBILE operator 3 yesterday opened its first Irish shop in Cork as part of its nationwide retail programme.

The company is investing over €500,000 in its Cork store with an on-going expenditure of €500,000 per year.

The operator will open over 20 stores. The 3 store expansion will create more than 200 jobs by the end of 2007 and involve a €10m-€15m investment.
