THE FTSE 100 Index closed little changed yesterday.

No major move for FTSE

Unilever paced gaining shares after the world’s second-largest maker of food and detergent announced a one-time dividend and said it will buy back shares.

The FTSE 100 Index was down 0.30 at 6,149.30. The FTSE All-Share Index fell less than 0.1%.
