BoI to pay student ATM stamp duty

BANK of Ireland says that it will to continue to be the only institution to pay the obligatory €10 government stamp duty on ATM cards of second-level student customers.

The charge is payable by anyone holding an ATM card, which banks must deduct from a cardholder’s account and return to the Revenue Commissioners.
