ISEQ hits all-time high

The ISEQ index powered to an all-time high yesterday on the back of a strong performance in the financial sector.

The Dublin exchange closed 73.29 points higher at 8,348.53.

In the banking sector, AIB lead the way gaining 48c to close at €21.09 followed closely by Anglo Irish jumping 30c to €13.55. Bank or Ireland added 5c to €15.25 while only Irish Life & Permanent failed to mirror the sector trend by slipping 4c back to €19.65.
