Market sees little movement

The ISEQ index finished the day relatively flat yesterday. At the closing bell the Dublin exchange had edged up by just 1.87 points to 8,138.79.

AIB slipped 10c to €20.84, while Bank of Ireland was 15c weaker at €15.15. Anglo-Irish dropped 26c to €12.69 with Irish Life & Permanent bucking the trend gaining 5c to €19.55.

In construction CRH jumped 10c to €26.50 and Kingspan gained 30c to €16.05. Grafton eased 5c to €10.30 while McInerney climbed 7c to €13.12 with over 1.04 million shares traded ahead of its interim results due tomorrow.

Ryanair was among the leading climbers gaining 30c to €8.45 as jet kerosene fell to $585 per ton.
