Broadband prices slashed by Eircom

EIRCOM has cut the price of its broadband products, claiming customers could save up to €180 a year.

The company said the cuts will take effect from the beginning of October and will also apply to wholesale customers, which will allow other operators to offer better prices to Irish customers.

Customers who use the 1MB Home Starter product will save €5 a month, a saving of 16% on the price of broadband. The price of the 2MB Home Plus product will drop by €10 a month, offering more than half of eircom broadband customers a €120 saving on their annual bill. Customers on the 3MB Home Pro product will receive a reduction of €15 a month, a saving of €180 a year for broadband.
