Service sector continues growth

A STRONG growth in the Irish service sector in July was shown by the NCB Purchasing Managers’ Services Index.

Activity and new business continued to increase at sharp rates.

The seasonally adjusted Business Activity Index signalled a sharp rise in activity at Irish service sector firms. A third of firms indicated that activity had risen since the previous month, compared to a decline for 16%.
