Mail’s circulation slump continues

THE Irish Daily Mail saw its daily circulation come in at 54,641 for June, continuing its steady month-on-month decline.

The latest readership figure was down from 60,385 in May and well down on its debut high of 82,787 in March. The newspaper has seen a steady rise in its cover price from an introductory cover charge of 30c to 75c.

One analyst said that the results indicate that the Mail’s Irish edition is “failing to gain traction”.
