Redevelopment of Arnotts planned

PLANS for a €1 billion redevelopment of one of Dublin’s oldest retail stores are expected to be announced shortly.

It has been reported that pre-planning discussions between Arnotts and Dublin City Council have already taken place to pave the way for the major reconstruction of the main Arnotts store in Henry Street.

The cost would be €400m, involving the construction of an underground car park and a street to link Henry Street with Princes Street.
