Davy up minimum deal charge 33%

Small shareholders dealing through Davy stockbrokers will face an increased minimum charge for phone dealing from January 1 — up from €75 to €100.

Davy up minimum deal charge 33%

This means clients dealing in amounts less than €4,500 will pay 33% more in commissions to buy or sell shares through Davy. Davy said the increased minimum charge reflected a move to provide a higher-quality service to phone clients. Clients dealing in amounts over €6,000 will be unaffected by the change.
