Musgrave show interest in Statoil

CORK-BASED wholesale business, the Musgrave Group, has expressed interest - along with around 30 other parties - in acquiring Statoil’s petrol station/forecourt business in Ireland, according to weekend reports.

Statoil, the Norwegian-headquartered oil group, announced early this month that it intended to sell up its Irish interests in order to focus on its interests in Scandinavia, the Baltic States and Eastern Europe.
